gave 'orchid no. 1' to my Grammie for her birthday, since she's the one who really inspired me over the years to have art be a living part of my life. framed & gave 'orchid no. 2' to my mom for her 50th bday. just so happened that they were 'at the same place, same time' (which is unusual seeing as how they live in different states), so i gave them their pictures together.
